If your county is listed, the link provided will send you to the accepted divorce forms for your location. You can then print them off and submit them to a Superior Court in your area.If your county is not listed, please use the state forms that are available. You are encouraged to Visit a Law Library for general guidance.

Prior to filing for divorce or legal separation you will need the following:

  • Time and patience
  • The social security number, full name, address (if known), occupation, and time in Arizona of your spouse (respondent)
  • The date, city, and state of your marriage
  • Information about any shared property or debts
  • Custody plans (if applicable)

Criteria:

  • Residency in Arizona for at least 90 consecutive days
  • Spouse is not on active duty

A Summary Consent Decree can only be filed if you and your spouse:

  • Do NOT have a covenant marriage
  • Both individuals want to be divorced
  • Have agreed on ALL terms of the divorce agreement
  • Have lived in or been stationed in Arizona for at least 90 days
  • Children have lived in Arizona for at least 6 months
