Parent Education Course Resources
What is a parent education class?
Under A.R.S. § 25-351, parents who are going through a divorce, annulment, separation, paternity dispute, or certain post-decree matters are required to attend a parent education program. Parent education classes that teaches about:
- Basic family court procedures
- The impact a divorce/annulment/separation has on children
- How to reduce the stress or emotional harm on children
- Co-parenting and communication skills
- Emotional and financial responsibilities of parents
