Child Support Calculator

In the fall of 2024, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) mailed letters to parents who once had an open dependecy and/or severance case.

Entering the Names and Details of Children

If there are more than six children eligible to be entered on a child support order, they must be entered with the name of the oldest child and their date of birth.  For less than six children, the order that they are entered does not matter.  For the calculator to work properly, the date of birth has to be entered MM-DD-YYYY (example: June 10, 2010 would read 06-10-2010).

The calculator will automatically populate the:

  • Ages of the children
  • Presumptive termination date
  • Youngest grade estimated
  • Number of minor children
  • Children age 12 and over

Note: If the calculator incorrectly populates the presumptive termination date or youngest grade estimated, insert the correct information in the actual termination date and actual grade fields.
