Child Support Calculator

In the fall of 2024, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) mailed letters to parents who once had an open dependecy and/or severance case.

Preparing to Calculate Child Support

The child support calculator is used to populate the Parenting Worksheet.  Prior to calculating child support using the online child support calculator, you will need to have the following information:

  • Names and dates of birth of children
  • Gross income of both parents
  • Spousal maintenance paid or received by either parent
  • Court-ordered child support for children of other relationships
  • Insurance costs for the children only (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Extra education expenses
  • Extraordinary child expenses
  • If parenting time is not split equally, the number of parenting days per year
  • Court-ordered arrears paid by the noncustodial parent
