Appealing a municipal or justice court ruling to a Superior Court is given a 14 day deadline, with the exception of evictions which are given a 5 day deadline.
Civil cases - 14 calendar days
Criminal cases - 14 calendar days
Judgment of Eviction - 5 calendar days
Traffic cases - 14 calendar days
Weekends and holidays are NOT excluded from the calendar day count. If your deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a day the court is closed, the Notice of Appeal is due the next day the court is open.
