What should I expect if I am being released from prison to a Probation Officer?

If you were assigned a Probation Officer while in prison, when you are released directly from prison to probation, it is your responsibility to either go to the probation office or call within 72 hours to get your reporting instructions.  If you were not assigned a Probation Officer you have 24 hours to report to the Probation Department upon your release from custody.  If it is after the office has closed for the day, leave your name, address, and a phone number you can be reached at.
