Parking and Security Information

  • Park in the lot outside of the courthouse
  • Parking is free
  • Children may be in the courtroom, but will be asked to leave if they are disrupting the court proceedings

Language/Disability Access

  • Courtrooms are equipped with sound amplifiers for those with hearing difficulties
  • This location utilizes Language Line translation services
  • Please allow, a minimum of 2 weeks if there is a need to have an interpreter present

  • The courtroom is equipped with
    • SMART Board
    • Digital projector/scanner
    • Google Earth software
    • Multimedia displays
    • Microphones
  • There are 2 public access computer terminals in the lobby

This location is closed on the following holidays:

New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Veteran's Day; Thanksgiving; Day After Thanksgiving; Christmas Day

Other

  • Weddings are performed Monday to Friday at noon or 5:00pm.  You must call to arrange.  You also must bring 2 witnesses and proper identification.  You can obtain a marriage license at the courthouse, but this must be done prior to the noon and 5:00pm time periods.
  • Walk-ins are allowed.  If you need to quash a warrant, open court hours are at 10:00am and 2:00pm daily.
  • Civil and criminal hearings can take place for those living more than 100miles away, unless it is a jury trial.
