FAQ - Warrants

In the fall of 2024, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) mailed letters to parents who once had an open dependecy and/or severance case.

Can a warrant be issued for the arrest of my child?

At this level of the court, a warrant will not issue for the child; however, the driver license of the child may be suspended until the child turns 18 years of age, at which time the court can issue a warrant for arrest.
