How can I collect unpaid wages?

A surviving spouse can use the Small Estate Affidavit to collect unpaid wages (or salary) under certain situations.  The amount must be no more than $5,000.  There may be no pending application or appointed personal representative in Arizona.  If there was an appointed personal representative, that representative has been discharged or more than one year has elapsed since a closing statement was filed.
