FAQ - Probate

What does Testate and Intestate mean?

Testate means a person dies with a valid will.  In that case the property will pass to the people or groups named in the will.

Intestate means a person died without a will.  Arizona laws determine who gets the property of the dead person if an Arizona resident died intestate.
