Special Deadline for Immediate Evictions

If your landlord was able to get a Judgment of Immediate Eviction and you want to remain in the rental property pending appeal you typically have 24 hours to file your Notice of Appeal and required bonds before you are removed from the property by a constable.  Check the Judgment of Eviction for when the writ of restitution will be issued and be sure to have your filings done before then.  If you do not wish to remain in the property when a Judgment of Immediate Eviction is granted, you have 5 days to file an appeal.
