How many instances of violence/harassment can I include in my application?

While the plaintiff may want to list as many instances of domestic violence or harassment they can think of, they are limited.

  • The act committed should have happened within a reasonable time period, no more than 1 year in the past.
  • Some jurisdictions (because of their software) limit the plaintiff to 5 instances; so, while AZPOINT allows the person to include 10, the court may only consider the first 5.
