In the fall of 2024, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) mailed letters to parents who once had an open dependency and/or severance case.

What do I put in my complaint?
In general, you use the complaint to tell the court in your own words why you are suing someone and what you want the judge to do (for example, you might be asking the judge to order the person to pay you a certain amount of money). To learn what you can ask the judge to do in your specific situation, you can research that question at a law library, or an attorney can advise you.
