FAQ - Appeals Heard in Superior Court

In the fall of 2024, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) mailed letters to parents who once had an open dependecy and/or severance case.

Did you receive a letter? Visit the DCS letter page for more information.

Do I have to type the papers I file with the court?

No, but if you can, do.  If the judge cannot read your handwriting your case may be rejected by the court.
