In the fall of 2024, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) mailed letters to parents who once had an open dependecy and/or severance case.

How long will it take for the Court of Appeals to make its decision?

The time period can vary depending on the nature of the case. It often takes about one year from the date the Notice of Appeal is filed until the Court of Appeals makes its written decision.
