Free public parking is located in the lot in front of the courthouse. There is a spot designated for handicapped parking near the courtroom entrance. You will find an access ramp next to the handicapped parking spot.

For filing, making payments, questions, and checking into court, the Clerk's Office is in the green building. Follow the signs that say, "Main Office." Once you have checked in with the clerk, the courthouse is on the ground floor of the white, 2-story, building marked "Magistrate Court." The courthouse will remain locked until it is time for the court hearing.

The Court Clerk assists with taking payments, filing paperwork, and scheduling. The office is open Tuesday to Thursday from 8:00am-5:00pm and closed from 12:00pm-1:00pm. The last payment is accepted at 4:30pm; cash, personal checks, credit cards, cashier's check, money order, and online payments are accepted.

Prior to your court hearing, you must check-in with the clerk. The courtroom shares the same space as the Town Hall. The presiding judge sits in the center chair. Children are allowed in court hearings as long as they are behaving.

The courtroom is equipped with a projector and other equipment for those with digital exhibits. Criminal hearings are digitally recorded. These recordings can be requested in writing for a fee. There are sound amplifiers in the courtroom for those with hearing difficulties. If a language interpreter is needed, please notify the clerk in advance so arrangements can be made.
