The rooms are wired for sound and have one-way glass. If an individual is not behaving, but required to be present, they may be removed to one of these rooms to witness the proceedings.

To access the court administration office, the customer presses the intercom outside of the entrance and waits to be buzzed in. The office is located directly across from security.

The Santa Cruz Superior Court has document projection systems, sound amplifiers, interpreter headsets, and phone conferencing for incarcerated inmates in each courtroom. The courthouse has public computers available for research and forms. If an individual would like a recording of the proceedings, they may request one for $28.00.

The offices to the adult and juvenile probation departments are located in the same building as the Courthouse. After passing through security, the probation department will be located to the left. There is an exterior door that leads to a hallway, with adult probation being on the right and juvenile at the end of the hall.
