The public service counter is open from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri. Here you can file, obtain forms, and ask general questions. If you have a court hearing or jury duty this is where you check-in.

Passports
La Paz Superior Court accepts passport applications until 4:00pm Monday to Friday. To apply for a passport you must have a passport photo, proper forms of identification and a money order or cashiers check made out for the correct amount. Passport photos can be taken and paid for onsite. If you do not know how much to have a money order made out for contact the courthouse and they can help.

The La Paz Superior Courthouse has 2 courtrooms. Each courtroom handles a variety of cases from family law to criminal issues. Food and drink are not allowed in the courtroom. Children are allowed in the courtrooms unless they are causing a disruption.

In the Office of the Clerk, forms are provided for free. Copies of forms for filing are made for $.50/page. There is also a computer with website acccess for finding forms and online filing. A printer is available.

Located in the back of Courtroom A is a Law Library. This room contains the current state statutes and rules of the court. Other than research the Law Library is also used as a conference room. Ask the Clerk for access.

Probationers check-in at the window and wait until they are called back for their meeting. There is no right to privacy - drug testing and searches take place. For those that are drug tested there is a $3.00 fee - EXACT CASH AMOUNT ONLY.
