Free public parking is located in front of the courthouse. There are spots designated for handicapped parking near the courtroom entrance. Do not park in any areas assigned to city employees.

Clerk Window
The Court Clerk assists with taking payments, filing paperwork, and scheduling. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm and closed from 12:30pm-1:30pm. The last payment is accepted at 4:30pm; cash, credit cards, cashiers check, and money orders are accepted. Payments can be accepted over the phone.

Prior to your court hearing, you must check-in with the clerk. The courtroom shares the same space as the Town Hall. The presiding judge sits in the center chair. Children are allowed in court hearings as long as they are behaving. Please be respectful be observing the dress code:

Technology
The courtroom is equipped with a projector and other equipment for those with digital exhibits. If you have exhibits, you can bring them in on either a usb or a disc for the Clerk. Hearings are digitally recorded. These recordings can be requested in writing for a fee. Wifi is available at the library near the courthouse.

For those with after-hour payments there is a dropbox located outside the entrance to the building. The box is checked at the beginning of the business day, Monday to Friday. Do not place cash in the box.
