Caption

A heading of a pleading, or other court paper, showing the name of the court, the names of the people and the case number.
Change of Venue

Removal of a case from one judicial district to another.
Charge

One crime or violation which has allegedly been committed by a defendant.  More than one charge can be included on a complaint or citation.
Citation

A form of complaint filed in civil traffic cases.  Also known as the Arizona Traffic Ticket and Complaint (ATTC).
Civil Penalty

Punishment given in a minor civil traffic case, similar to a fine in a criminal proceeding.  Same as a civil sanction.
