Order the Trial Record

A record on appeal is sent to the Superior Court.  It consists of exhibits and transcripts of the proceedings.

  • It must be filed no later than 14 days after the ruling, order, judgment, or sentence.  Once you decide what items are needed for the Record on Appeal you must file an original and one copy with the clerk of the court.
  • The Superior Court does not retry your case, they review the memoranda that are filed by the appellant and appellee.  Due to this, it is important that they be given a complete record of the issues being appealed.
  • If you believe that the Superior Court should review all documents and exhibits, write "All records" on the Record on Appeal.
