Parking and General Courthouse Information

  • Park in the front lot of the courthouse
  • Parking is free
  • Check in with the clerk prior to entering the courtroom
  • Children are allowed in the courtroom, unless they are being disruptive
  • Cellphones must be turned off or silenced in the courthouse
  • No food or drink allowed
  • Dress appropriately
    • No hats
    • No inappropriate language or images
    • No undergarments showing
  • Mexican drivers licenses, insurance, and vehicle registrations are accepted

Language/Disability Access

  • Documents are supplied in multiple languages
  • Onsite Spanish translators
  • ASL interpreter can be provided with advanced knowledge
  • Language Line access

Weddings

If you would like to schedule a wedding, call in advance.  They are held after courthouse hours for a fee and can be conducted in both English and Spanish.  You must supply:

  • Marriage license (can be obtained at Santa Cruz Superior Court)
  • Proper identification
  • 2 witnesses, must be over 18 years old
