What does the plaintiff put in their complaint?
In general, the plaintiff (the person who files the lawsuit) uses the complaint to tell the court, in their own words, why they are suing someone and what they want the judge to do. For example, they might be asking the judge to order the person to pay a certain amount of money. To learn what a plaintiff can ask the judge to do in a specific situation, they can research that question at a law library, or an attorney can advise them.
