FAQ - Juvenile Cases in Limited Jurisdiction Court

Does the Juvenile Court cover all the cost of the Court ordered placement?

No, at times you may be told that the cost of placements is covered by the Court, but this is not the case.  The cost of placement is based on the family's ability to pay.  It is required by state law that the family pay a portion of the fee, determined on their financial status.
